The Zeljko Hairdryer...

For the third time in the last two weeks a bollocking from Zeljko has enabled Dinara to turn a match around from a set and a bit down.

It wasn't the usual 'hairdryer treatment' this time, but a distinct change in tactics that caused her 48th-ranked opponent, Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez to fall apart.

It's not just me that finds on court coaching at odds with the 'dog-eat-dog' individualistic ethos of tennis. Being mic-ed up in this way also allows coaches and family members of other players to listen in on some pretty valuable outpourings.


I've now got another reason to oppose it: It actually works.
