I apologise. Mea culpa!

But it's not so easy to see your favourite player do so badly with such potential! *SNIFF*

You ask me about Berdych. Another one who's not living up to his potential! But I loved the look in his eyes when he was playing that last tie-break against Federer! I hope he does better now. I still think that Soderling would have beaten him in Barcelona, had Berdych not pulled out!

Nadal pulled out as well! Shocking!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16638705023349852583noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8948801468516043822.post-282605241552071962010-04-19T13:18:00.568+01:002010-04-19T13:18:00.568+01:00It is worse! The way I see it, Murray appears to have self diagnosed his problems, and can therefore (it would seem) be relied upon to work his way out of them, however long that might take.

I'm not sure Novak quite knows whats bugging him.

As for that match against Nalbandian I seem to recall saying something about Nalbandian "not being allowed to play".

I also mentioned how I was looking forward to Novak finding his feet on clay - he was arguably the 2nd best clay courter of last year.

But your selective memory does you credit, as always ;)

Seriously though, I really had the clay season down as kick starting Nole's form - I'm not much in favour of the less aggressive way in which his game has evolved, but it does seem to work a treat on clay.

Be looking for a strong rebound in Rome.

As for Barcelona, I've not seen the draw yet - but that does sound like a strong line up.

What say you of Berdych? Is he this years Robin Soderling?

Just a thought.Zafarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11909444215193865334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8948801468516043822.post-32869651085785608992010-04-19T00:18:22.306+01:002010-04-19T00:18:22.306+01:00"- Djoko’s poor semi final showing is in some..."- Djoko’s poor semi final showing is in some ways even worse than what happened to Murray, who does at least recognise the need to appear consistently mediocre in his “sticky patch”. "

My dear TopSpin! In what ways could it possibly be worse? Three losses in a row, two first-round exits in a row! At least Novak played brilliantly against Nalbandian (I know you don't think so, I read your post, it was all Nalbandian's fault for not showing up, nothing to do with Nole!). That match can help to lift Nole's spirits when he's watching the video of his appalling performance against Verdasco.

No such comfort for Murray. Last year (13.4.2009) Novak had a 170 point lead over Murray, tomorrow, after his dreadful match against Verdasco, his lead over Murray will be 1895 points.

No, TopSpin. It's very, very bad for Nole right now. But what's happening to Murray is much worse!

Moving on, you don't seem all that convinced about Rafa's form yet. I'm hoping for a Soderling-Rafa final in Barcelona. That is, if Soderling can get past Chela, Lopez, Berdych, and (Almagro, Tsonga, Monaco or Ferrero), all of whom are in his half.

I think this week's Rafa would demolish Soderling, but I would love to see the proof of that! I know you would too!

Fingers crossed! :)Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16638705023349852583noreply@blogger.com
