He relaxed for just a few minutes at the top of that third set, and that's all someone like Rafa needs to get in the door and close it shut.

For a while there I thought that was Roger disguised as Rafa, what with all those missed break points, and Novak pulled a Rafa, saving all those break points. The biggest difference that may have cost Novak this match was his strategy. He seemed to be aggressive when he was down, but conservative when he was up. If he had consistently gone on the attack, Rafa would've been holding his check while he hoisted the cup ;)zbrainnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8948801468516043822.post-88759465828869948912010-09-17T02:23:23.621+01:002010-09-17T02:23:23.621+01:00Agree...as great as Rafa was, I don't think he...Agree...as great as Rafa was, I don't think he was unbeatable. Even so, Djoko seemed a little winded after losing that third set. Nigh impossible to come back against Rafa from two sets down. Great to see he didn't give up fighting!TopSpinhttp://tennisisserved.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.com
