That said, it's not certain Novak will repeat what he's done this yr, Rafas not always unbeatable and Fed hasn't many years left on tour so who knows?Zafarhttp://tennisisserved.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8948801468516043822.post-69486907599616580012011-10-11T22:06:19.998+01:002011-10-11T22:06:19.998+01:00I like Murray but like you, jumping for joy over a...I like Murray but like you, jumping for joy over a 250 and then 500 is not in my heart. Yes, he beat Rafa, someone he can't beat in majors but that's just it--he can't beat Rafa or the other top 3 when it counts. He can't win a title that means the next step above a masters and of course so far above a 500. He has complained about playing so much but keeps playing and then doubles at that. It seems he is inspired to replace Fed at no 3 but doesn't get inspired for a major. Can't understand that. I also like Fed ( actually all top 4) but I don't think 3 or 4 matters to him. If only Murray could take lessons from the smaller victories and apply them at majors then he will start breaking in at the top like his pal Novak.<br />As far as Radwanska. I think she should get a shout out for lasting the two weeks of two big tournaments. Some of the ones that went far in Tokyo (Vera, Petra, Vika) fell out early. Aga was really tired in that match or it seemed so to me. But she did what she had to do which her friend Caro hasn't been doing. She is hitting winners when she needs (she hit 30 or something I believe) but playing defense to hang around for the right time to bring that aggression. She has a new coach and seems to listen to what he has to say and is wanting to improve. Caro has this mysterious coach but what is it accomplishing? Also just to let you know Beijing was a Mandatory Premier (her first), Tokyo- a Premier 5(her first) and Carlsbad this year-just a Premier (her second-first in Eastbourne a few years ago). I wish the WTA would simplify their way of describing such tournaments.Sunny ninenoreply@blogger.com
